Frontiir received devastating news this morning about a Frontiirian who was peacefully protesting while he was off duty. Nyi Nyi Aung Htet Naing was fatally shot in the morning of 28 February 2021 at the Hledan area in Yangon. Nyi Nyi was an associate engineer with our Fiber Operations team and was only 23. Described by his colleagues and friends as a kind person and “doer”, Nyi Nyi is survived by his beloved parents and his twin brother. The Frontiir Mitharsu is supporting his family in any way we can and are mourning together this senseless death. Frontiir’s stores will be closed with all off its  large sign board lights off on 1 Mar 2021. Frontiir will hold our own internal group events to grieve and honor Nyi Nyi.
